In the Port of Cape Town (V Keyptaunskom portu...; after the title of a popular Soviet song) is a 2019 (filmed 2018) Russian drama film directed by Aleksandr Veledinskiy. Three men meet in Summer 1945 on the island of Sakhalin on the Far East. A shootout happens, and each of the trio mistakenly believes that he killed the other two. Fifty years later, events related to that fateful meeting that changed the lives of all three happen in different parts of the world.

Note: there is no ellipsis in the title on the poster, but it is present in the opening credits of the film.

The following weapons were used in the film In the Port of Cape Town (V Keyptaunskom portu...):

Revolvers

Nagant M1895

In the scene, set in Leningrad in 1926, a Senior Militsioner (the second role of Evgeniy Tkachuk) carries a Nagant M1895 revolver in holster.

Nagant M1895 - 7.62x38R Nagant. Note the angular front sight which was used from 1930s.
Militsioners help a pregnant woman. A small part of the Nagant grip is seen in holster of a man at the left.

Pistols

TT-33

Gena (Evgeniy Tkachuk) holds a TT-33 in several scenes, set in 1996. Then he is disarmed by the Vilen Alekseevich Vereshchagin (Vladimir Steklov) who was one of the three participants of the events on Sakhalin in 1945.

Tokarev TT-33 - 7.62x25mm Tokarev. Pre-1947 version.
Gena carries a TT in the pocket.
A criminal (Vladimir Shabelnikov) hands the TT to Gena.

Gena holds the TT.
Gena tries to shoot himself. The pistol isn't cocked.
Gena's TT is seized by Vereshchagin.
Vereshchagin holds the pistol and the sniper scope while preparing to assassinate a crime boss. In this scene a different TT is used.
He checks the only cartridge in the magazine.
The chamber of this TT is different from the one, seen in Gena's hands.
Vereshchagin holds the pistol.

Erma EP 652

In the flashback scene that depicts the scene in 1945 from Sailor's point of view, the young Sailor (Filipp Ershov) is armed with an anachronistic Erma EP 652 .22 caliber pistol.

SIG-Sauer P220 Series Pistol

In a scene, set in 1996 in Cape Town, Michel (Francis Chouler) carries a pistol of SIG-Sauer P220 family in shoulder holster. The pistol is seen only partially, and the exact model cannot be identified.

SIG-Sauer P220 1st Generation "American" model - .45 ACP. The screen gun is similar enough to this model.
The grip and the hammer spur of the holstered pistol are seen.

Vektor SP1

In a scene in Cape Town, one of Pakhan's scions (Keenan Arrison) is armed with a Vektor SP1 pistol.

Pakhan's granddaughter Angelica (Anfisa Chernykh) covertly replaces the gun with the saxophone.

Assault Rifles

Norinco Type 56-1

Several AK-47s are seen in the scene in Cape Town. They are seen only partially but what is seen allows to identify them as Norinco Type 56-1.

An old Zulu woman Ari (Sylvia Mdunyelwa) loads the AK magazine with specially spoiled cartriges. One of the three AKs (1) is partially seen at the background right.
Another view of the same scene. The AK on the table (2) definitly has a folding stock. The AK leaning against the table (3) is a different model as it has a kind of muzzle brake (see below for possible identification).

An AK is seen in hands of a Pakhan's scion (Darren Amos). The front sight and the muzzle allow to identify it as Type 56.

Unidentified AK

One of the AKs seen in the scene in Cape Town has a kind of muzzle brake that bears resemblance with the ones used on Bulgarian Arsenal AR-M1/M1F. But it is seen very blurry and the proper identification is humpered.

For comparison: Arsenal AR-M1F - 7.62x39mm
The AK leaning against the table (3) has a kind of muzzle brake similar to AR-M1. It also seems to have a folding stock.

AKS-74

Three Russian OMON (SWAT) officers are armed with AKS-74s.

Saiga MK-03

Two more OMON officers are armed with compact AKs that look most like semi-auto Saiga MK-03 (but also may be airsoft guns that are common in modern Russian films).

A Saiga MK-03 is seen. Note the combination of 7.62x39 mm magazine, triangle skeleton stock in AKS-74/74U style and wooden handguard that exclude AK-104 on which MK-03 is based.

Vektor R5

In the scene in Cape Town, Alex (Ryan Kruger) checks a Vektor R5 hidden in a guitar case.

Machine Guns

Degtyaryov DP-27

A DP-27 machine gun is seen in Pakhan's flashback scene, set during the WWII.

Trivia

Glock

The film poster shows Gena (Evgeniy Tkachuk) holding a Glock style pistol. Such gun isn't used in the film.

The Glock pistol is seen better on a backdrop of the poster.

Mockup Guns

Stage actors at the rehearsal of Vereshchagin's play hold mockups of PPSh-41, MP40 and a rough generalized pistol.

An actor in the role of Salazhonok (Nikita Markovskiy) carries a "PPSh", behind him an actor in the role of Pakhan (Andrey Gulnyov) with an "MP40".
The MP40 is seen better. It is less rough than the PPSh.
The wooden barrel of the "PPSh" is seen at the right.
An actor in the role of Sailor (Ivan Baykalov) holds a wooden pistol.

Photos

A photo of Soviet Navy destroyer Soobrazitelniy is seen in a newspaper. This is real wartime photo, taken in 1943.
A photo of US Navy Iowa-class battleship is seen on the wall in a tavern in Cape Town. The plot implies it to be Missouri.
