Combat planes

Armenian air force uses MiG-25PU/RU (known under it's NATO moniker Foxbat-C) interceptors in combat roles. Unlike it's successor MiG-31 (christened by NATO Foxhound), MiG-25 is a clear product of the Cold War interceptor paradigm armed exclusively with air-to-air and anti-radiation missiles, as such it has no internal guns.

Judging by the bumpy notch over the cockpit, this is two-seat conversion trainer aircraft.
Main difference between PU and RU is that the former is an interceptor trainer and the later is a reconnaissance trainer fitted with a MiG-25R navigational system. There is no outward distinction between the two trainer variants.
