Colt Detective Special

In later seasons, Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord) carries a Colt Detective Special as his sidearm.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) and Duke Lukela (Herman Wedemeyer).

Smith and Wesson Model 36 - .38 special - 5 shot. First pattern with flat latch cylinder release.
In "You Don't See Pirates These Days" (S10E02), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) pulls his S&W 36.
In "You Don't See Pirates These Days" (S10E02), Duke Lukela (Herman Wedemeyer) fires his S&W 36.


Smith & Wesson Model 10/ Military & Police

The Smith & Wesson Model 10, also known as the Military & Police (M&P) and the "Police Special", is seen in the hands of many HPD officers and suspects in the series.

In "You Don't See Pirates These Days" (S10E02), a Smith & Wesson Model 10 is pulled.
In "You Don't See Pirates These Days" (S10E02), an HPD officer next to Duke Lukela (Herman Wedemeyer) fires his S&W 10.

The Smith & Wesson Model 19 is usually seen carried by HPD officers in the series.

M16 SP1

The M16 is used by men who take over a ship in "You Don't See Pirates These Days" (S10E02).

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm
In "You Don't See Pirates These Days" (S10E02), the M16 is used by men who take over a ship.
