The Great Outdoors is a 1988 comedy starring John Candy and Dan Aykroyd.
The following weapons were used in the film The Great Outdoors:
Lamp shotgun
A double-barrel shotgun made into a lamp appears in the lodge lobby. Its later used to chase off the man-eating bear by shooting it in the behind.
Double-barrel shotgun
During a flashback, John Candy's character, Chet Ripley, uses a double-barrel shotgun to shoot the man-eating bear in the head. The shotgun appears to have exposed hammers when on the mantel, but appears to be hammerless when fired.
