G.B.R : Special Commando Unit is an incredibly obscure (For good reason) FPS by Openoko Entertainment for PC that is clearly more than heavily inspired by a Certain Tom Clancy game.
In the fictional country of Bielar, the fictional Russian G.B.R "Group of Blistering Repesonse" investigate suspicious activity and find themselves caught up in a military coup attempt in the country, the player plays as Squad Leader Grom.
The game uses a shop system where between levels, the player can buy weapons, armor, additional ammo and teammates, if the player quits out of a mission (either on death or prematurely), they will lose any spent cash but it's possible to farm money by killing enemies then quitting prematurely before dying. (Since taking damage has a money penalty.), while the game does have a "Primary" and "Secondary" slot, the player can carry any weapon in any slot. (So two pistols or two assault rifles is possible.)
The following weapons appear in the video game G.B.R : Special Commando Unit:
Pistols
Glock
An unknown Glock Pistol appears as the "AT 9", it holds 9 shots in a magazine.
Desert Eagle
A Desert Eagle appears, it has additional versions with a scope, long barrel and a fictional "Desert Eagle 2" version.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
The Mossberg 500 Cruiser appears as the "Mosberg", it holds 3 shells like the Super Shorty, both the Mossberg and the Super Shorty have Grom "Slap" the shotgun to reload it, as there are clearly no shells in his open hand when reloading the shotgun.
Serbu Super Shorty
The Serbu Super Shorty appears as the "Shorty"
Assault Rifles
AK-47
The AK-47 incorectly appears in the game as the "AK-74", it has synthetic furniture and is used by Allied "Commando" G.B.R troops.
AKS-74U
The AKS-74U incorectly appears as the "AKM-74". The weapon makes very low quality stock silenced gunfire sounds with the unsuppressed version.
Heckler & Koch G3A3
The H&K G3A3 appears as the "MSG 90", it seems the developers got it mixed up with the Heckler & Koch MSG90. , it holds 30 bullets in a 20 round magazine and is fully automatic.
Steyr AUG A1
The Steyr AUG A1 appears as the "Steyer".
Metal Storm AICW
The AICW appears as the "Steyer modern".
Machine Guns
Both of the machine gun's belts just "Jiggle" when firing, moving back and forth without actually moving the belt fowards.
PKM
The PKM appears as "AMG 300"
FN M249E2 SAW
The FN M249E2 SAW appears as "M249" and is used by Allied "Machine Gunner" G.B.R troops.
Sniper Rifles
PSL Sniper Rifle
The PSL Sniper Rifle appears incorrectly as the "Dragunov" and is used by Allied "Sniper" G.B.R troops.
VSS Vintorez
The VSS Vintorez appears in the game as the "SPRV", the shop menu claims friendly snipers use this weapon but they use the PSL during gameplay.
Hand Grenades
RGD-5
The RGD-5 hand grenade appears as the weakest type of Greande and is called the "Grenade 50"
F-1
The F-1 hand grenade appears as the "Grenade 100".
RG-42
What appears to be an RG-42 hand grenade appears as the "Grenade 150"
Unused weapons
HUD Icons for a few unused weapons exist in the files, listed from left to right:
The OSV-96, called the "V94".
An Colt 1911, standing in for the MP-446 "Viking".
