Five for Hell (also known as Five Into Hell; original title Cinque per l'inferno) is a 1969 Italian war adventure movie directed by Gianfranco Parolini. During the battle for Gustav Line in late 1943 US Army Lt. Glenn Hoffmann (Gianni Garko) and four G.I.s are sent in a mission to steal German secret plans. Their opponent is a German officer Hans Mueller (Klaus Kinski).
The following weapons are seen in the movie Five for Hell:
Handguns
Luger P08
Lt. Glenn Hoffmann (Gianni Garko), disguised as a German officer, carries a Luger P08. A suppressed Luger is used by Helga Richter (Margaret Lee) in one scene. German officers also carry Lugers but they are seen very blurry or holstered.
Walther P38
Walther P38 is seen in hands of Capt. Nixon (Mike Monty), disguised as a German officer during the scene of the training.
M1911A1
Lt. Hoffmann (Gianni Garko) and most if not all of his men carry M1911A1 pistols in holsters. Only Hoffman uses his pistol in action.
Submachine Guns
MP40
German soldiers carry MP40 submachine guns. In the final scene Standartenfuhrer Hans Mueller (Klaus Kinski) uses an MP40. MP40s are also used by G.I.s, disguised as Germans.
M3 "Grease Gun"
M3 "Grease Gun" are used by Sgt. Sam McCarthy (Samson Burke), Pvts. Nick Amadori (Aldo Canti), Al Siracusa (Salvatore Borghese) and Johnny White (Luciano Rossi). In two(!) scenes McCarthy is identified as an American in disguise because he has an American SMG.
M1A1 Thompson
M1A1 Thompson is used by Lt. Hoffmann (Gianni Garko). Al Siracusa (Salvatore Borghese) is briefly seen with Thompson in one scene.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
Most German soldiers carry Karabiner 98k rifles. They are also used by G.I.s, disguised as Germans, and stand for M1903 Springfield rifles in the opening scene of basic training of G.I.s.
Carcano M91/38 Cavalry Carbine
In one scene an Italian carabinier carries a Carcano M91/38 Cavalry Carbine.
Machine Guns
MG42
An MG42 on tripod is used by G.I.s, disguised as Germans, during the training of Lt. Hoffmann's group. An MG42 on tripod is used by German soldiers. In the final scene Nick Amadori (Aldo Canti) fires it.
Hand Grenades
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
German soldiers use Model 24 Stielhandgranates in several scenes.
Mk 2 hand grenade
In one scene Lt. Glenn Hoffmann (Gianni Garko) and Sgt. Sam McCarthy (Samson Burke) use Mk 2 hand grenades.
