E-Ring was a NBC military drama series that ran for one season in 2005-2006. Starring Benjamin Bratt as Major (later Colonel) James Tisnewski and Dennis Hopper as Colonel Eli McNulty, the show followed the activities of the Special Operations Division of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, located in the outermost ring of the Pentagon (or E-Ring).
