A Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine appears to be the weapon used by Reno Smith (Robert Ryan). John J. Macreedy (Spencer Tracy) is later seen holding the rifle.

Hector David (Lee Marvin) carries a 4 3/4 inch Colt Single Action Army at one point in the film.
