Bad Company (1972)

Bad Company is a 1972 revisionist Western starring Jeff Bridges as the young leader of a gang of thieves who welcome a Civil War draft dodger into their group. Despite that it's mentioned that the events take place in the year 1863 during the height of the Civil War, several anachronistic firearms are seen in the film. Not to be confused with the 2002 Chris Rock action film of the same name.

The following weapons were used in the film Bad Company (1972):

Single Action Army Cavalry

Despite the fact that the film's events are supposed to take place in 1863 during the Civil War, several characters are seen using the Cavalry model of the Single Action Army revolver (which wasn't introduced until 10 years later), including Jake Rumsey (Jeff Bridges), Drew Dixon (Barry Brown) and Big Joe (David Huddleston).

Hobbs (Geoffrey Lewis) holds Jake's gang at bay with the SAA.
Loney (John Savage) threatens Jake with his SAA.
Orin (Ed Lauter) draws his SAA.
Big Joe (David Huddleston) with his SAA.
Drew Dixon (Barry Brown) holds the SAA.

Springfield 1873 Trapdoor Carbine

The Trapdoor Springfield 1873 Carbine appears to be the rifle carried by Union soldiers as well as members of the posse led by the US Marshal (Jim Davis). This also is an anachronistic weapon.
