The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Babylon Berlin:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Pistols
Dreyse M1907
Gereon Rath's (Volker Bruch) duty sidearm is a Dreyse Model 1907 throughout the series. The first appearance of his pistol is in Episode 1 chasing a criminal, but accidentally drops it.
Lignose 3A
Franz Krajewski (Henning Peker) uses a Lignose 3A pistol.
Ortgies Pocket Pistol
Bruno Wolter's (Peter Kurth) service weapon is a Ortgies Pocket Pistol, chambered in either .32 ACP or .380 ACP. pistol. Svetlana Sorokina (Severija Janusauskaite) is also seen with this pistol, chambered in .25 ACP.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is one of the standard sidearms of the German police.
Tokarev TT-30/TT-33
One of the inaccuracies of the show is its constant use of the TT-type pistol by the Soviet agents Grigori Selenskij (Dmitri Alexandrov) and Michail Fallin (Waléra Kanischtscheff) of ambassador Trochin (Denis Burgazliev). The show is set in 1929, while the TT-30 would not even be designed until 1930. An accurate choice would be the Korovin TK pistol or the already used Nagant M1895 revolver.
Mauser C96
Mauser C96 pistols are also seen in the police armory.
J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 1926
Czerwinski (Rüdiger Klink) uses a Sauer 1913 pocket pistol as his duty sidearm.
Colt M1911A1
Edgar "The Armenian" Kasabian (Misel Maticevic) owns a nickel Plated Colt M1911A1 as his preferred sidearm that is taken away by Gereon Rath in Episode 8.
Astra 300
The main bodyguard of the Armenian is seen with an Astra 300 during the shootout in the restaurant.
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
The Nagant M1895 is used by Soviet agents and revolutionaries.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A cook of Kasabian's restaurant in Episode 8 is seen using a Smith & Wesson Model 10.
Submachine Guns
M1928 Thompson
Some Russian counter-revolutionaries taking over the train in Ep. 01 are armed with M1928 Thompson submachine guns. One episode later Thompsons are used by Soviet agents including Grigori Selenskij and Michail Fallin.
Suomi KP/-31 SJR
The Finnish Suomi KP/-31 SJR submachine gun is used by Soviet counter-revolutionaries in Episode 1 who take control over the train. The SJR version (from Finnish suujarru - muzzle brake) appeared only in 1943.
Haenel-Schmeisser MP28/II
Some Haenel-Schmeisser MP28/II submachine guns are seen lying in a crate in the police arsenal.
Rifles
Mauser Gewehr 1898
The Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifle is used by Berlin police forces, German Border, and Train station guards. The police armory rifles of Major Scheer (Florian Panzner) are equipped with Reichswehr tangent-leaf rear sights.
Mosin Nagant 1891/30
Soviet soldiers and counter-revolutionaries are seen with Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifles.
Mauser 98 Sporter
Generalmajor Seegers (Ernst Stötzner) and Col. Wendt (Benno Fürmann) use Mauser 98 Sporter rifles during the deer hunting.
Steyr Mannlicher-Schoenauer
Major Beck (Joachim Paul Assböck) is seen with a Steyr Mannlicher-Schoenauer carbine over his shoulder while hunting in Episode 6.
Mauser Gewehr 1888/05
Mauser Gewehr 1888/05 rifles are used by German soldiers including Gereon Rath during the WW1 flashback in Episode 7. A G88 is also seen on the wall of Bruno Wolter's living room.
Berthier Mle 1916 Carbine
Berthier Mle 1916 carbines are seen in hands of French soldiers in the flashback.
