Amerika is a television miniseries that aired on ABC in 1987. The miniseries dramatizes life in the United States of America ten years after a bloodless Soviet takeover. Directed by Donald Wrye, the miniseries stars Kris Kristofferson, as a maverick American political leader who plays a role in the resistance, Robert Urich as a American administrator who collaborates with the Soviets, and Sam Neill as a Soviet KGB officer who supervises the region of America the story takes place in.
