Mad Max: Fury Road

Mad Max: Fury Road is the fourth film in the Mad Max film series and the first to star Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky. In the 2015 film, Max becomes involved with the plans of Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), who intends to make her escape from the tyrannical warlord Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne, who also played Toecutter in the the original film) after liberating his captive "breeders"--young women whom he holds prisoner in the hopes of producing a healthy male heir. Unlike the previous three films, Fury Road was shot almost entirely on location in Namibia, rather than Australia.
Also unlike the previous three films, where firearms were a scarce commodity and rarely used, Fury Road features a large number of firearms that are used liberally by many of the characters. This is partially explained by the existence of Joe's "satellite" domains, the Bullet Farm and Gas Town, run by his lieutenants the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) and the People Eater (John Howard), respectively, which allow Joe's forces to manufacture ammunition and explosives, rather than having to hoard what little remains of either.

Pistols
Taurus PT99AF
Furiosa's personal sidearm is a blued Taurus PT99AF, which is confiscated by Max after he joins her and the wives. During the final chase, Immortan Joe draws and fires a stainless steel PT99AF at Max.
Glock 17 (2nd Generation)
A 2nd Generation Glock 17 is featured as the most prominent weapon in the War Rig's extensive arsenal. The pistol is seen in the hands of Max (Tom Hardy), Furiosa (Charlize Theron), and one of Immortan Joe's wives, Toast the Knowing (Zoë Kravitz).
Glock 17 (3rd Generation)
Shortly after the brutal fight between Max and Furiosa, the Glock 17 is briefly portrayed as a 3rd Generation model, implying that two distinct, non-identical props were used for the film.
Luger P08
Another weapon included in the War Rig's arsenal is a Luger P08, which Max confiscates and uses against the Rock Riders and one of Immortan Joe's Imperators during the last leg of the initial chase. It is also fired by one of the Vuvalini (played by Joy Smithers) at the People Eater's limousine during the final chase scene.
Mauser C96
Another weapon Max confiscates while on the War Rig is a Mauser C96. The People Eater (John Howard) also carries a C96 as his personal weapon, which he attempts to use on Max during the final chase.
CBC Shotgun Pistol
When Max (Tom Hardy) begins to confiscate Furiosa's (Charlize Theron) weapons inside the War Rig, one of the first guns he throws into the bag is a very rare single shot CBC shotgun pistol.
Handmade Township Pistol
While counting their remaining bullets after the first chase, Toast (Zoe Kravitz) holds up a small derringer (calling it a "little pinky"), announcing in a falsely cheery voice that they have "a raunchy" twenty-nine shells for it. The derringer is a unique "handmade township pistol" (as MIL.SPEC., who provided it for the film, refers to it as); according to MIL.SPEC. owner Lance Peters, "It is a single shot .22 home made pistol. It was found in a (fully licensed) collection of an ex-military officer and most likely confiscated during the Angolan war."
Derringer
Before proceeding with his lone search for the War Rig in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) loads what appears to be a single-shot derringer of some kind, with a bullet extracted from a gap between his teeth.
Browning Hi-Power
Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) obtains a Browning Hi-Power after encountering the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) and his men in the Green Place, keeping it as his personal sidearm for the remainder of the film. He later uses it to shoot at Slit (Josh Helman), who also uses the same pistol (due to a continuity error), at the start of the final chase.
Zastava M57
During the film's final chase sequence, the War Boy Slit (Josh Helman) is armed with a Zastava M57, which he fires at Max and the War Rig. Due to continuity error, it occasionally switches to a Browning Hi-Power during the final chase.
Revolvers
Colt Anaconda
Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) keeps a Colt Anaconda as one of his personal sidearms, and brandishes it during the first and last chase scenes.
Webley .455 Mk IV
A Webley .455 Mk IV is yet another weapon in the War Rig's arsenal. It is initially confiscated by Max after he joins Furiosa and the wives, but is later used by Furiosa (Charlize Theron) to gun down one of Immortan Joe's War Boys near the end of the first chase.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Max also confiscates what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 10 with a 3 inch barrel after deciding to ride with Furiosa and the wives on the War Rig. He later uses it to shoot and kill the Rock Rider Chief (Stephen Dunlevy) towards the climax of the film's first chase.
Enfield No. 2
One of the weapons in the War Rig's arsenal is an Enfield No. 2, which Max confiscates after joining Furiosa and Immortan Joe's wives in their journey to the Green Place. The Bullet Farmer's custom Howe & Howe Ripsaw vehicle, dubbed the Peacemaker, incorporates the grip and frame of an Enfield into its spotlight.
Single Action Army
The Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) is shown to keep a pair of Single Action Army revolvers in holsters strapped to his upper arms. Whilst searching for the War Rig in the Green Place, he fires two long-barreled "Buntline Special" models fitted with adjustable rear sights before switching to an IMI Uzi. The People Eater's (John Howard) custom limousine rig incorporates the grip and frame of a stainless steel Single Action Army into its gear lever.

The Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) dual wields his Buntline Revolvers.
Ruger Vaquero
Both Immortan Joe and his eldest son, Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones), carry Ruger Vaqueros with stainless steel bodies and ivory grips as personal sidearms. Nux (Nicholas Hoult) is given Joe's Vaquero when the latter orders him to kill Furiosa and stop the War Rig during the last leg of the initial chase, but drops it after tripping and nearly falling from its trailer less than a minute later.
Submachine Guns
Kommando LDP
The Rock Rider Chief (Stephen Dunlevy) carries as his personal weapon a Kommando LDP fitted with a dual magazine clamp and its stock removed.
Sten Mk II
One of the Bullet Farmer's men is seen armed with a Sten Mk II submachine gun.
IMI Uzi
While searching for the War Rig in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) is seen firing an IMI Uzi with a wooden stock after his two SAA "Buntline Specials" run out of ammo.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
After being blinded by Furiosa in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) wields and fires two Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs fitted with Brügger & Thomet folding stocks and Aimpoint M68 reflex sights mounted on Weaver rails.

A Heckler & Koch UMP is seen on board the Bullet Farmer's Peacemaker vehicle.
PPSH-41
During the chase through the Bog, one of the Bullet Farmer's riders can be seen firing a PPSh-41.
Shotguns
Sawn-Off Victor Sarasqueta Shotgun
As in the original Mad Max films, Max's personal weapon is a Sawn-off Double Barreled Shotgun, in particular for this film, a sawn-off Victor Sarasqueta shotgun. It is taken from him by the War Boys early on in the film and given to Nux (Nicholas Hoult), who uses in an attempt to kill Furiosa during the first chase sequence, but misses. Max takes the shotgun back after Nux's car crashes in the sandstorm and attempts to use its remaining cartridge to blow Nux's wrist off in order to separate the chained tether between them, only for it to end up being a dud. He then uses it to threaten Furiosa and the Five Wives for water and a pair of bolt cutters. In the subsequent fight between him and Furiosa, the shotgun is dropped and later picked up by Toast the Knowing after Max tries to drive away with the War Rig. Max confiscates it shortly afterwards and, sadly, never uses it again.
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
Miss Giddy (Jennifer Hagen), the elderly Wordburger and caretaker of the Five Wives, threatens Immortan Joe with a full-length 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun after he realizes Furiosa has smuggled them out of the Citadel. One of the Vuvalini women is armed with a double barreled shotgun as well.
Armscor M30R6
Another weapon on the War Rig is an Armscor M30R6 shotgun modified with a pistol grip and vertical foregrip attached to its forward action, likely adapted for Furiosa's mechanical arm. Max confiscates it after he joins her and the Five Wives before giving it back to her to use against the Rock Riders when they give chase. It is later used by the Keeper of the Seeds (Melissa Jaffer) during the final chase, before it is snatched by a Gastown Polecat. One of the Imperators accompanying Immortan Joe near the end of the initial chase sequence is armed with a M30R6 as well, albeit without the vertical foregrip.
Republic Arms Musler
What appears to be a rubber stunt prop version of a Republic Arms Musler shotgun is seen strapped next to the driver seat of the War Rig, standing in for the Armscor M30R6 shotgun and is even fitted with a similar vertical gripped fore-end.
Single Barreled Shotgun
One of the Vuvalini (Melita Jurisic) is armed with a Single Barreled Shotgun, which she uses against several War Boys, Polecats, and Rictus during the final chase sequence.
Rifles
Type 56 SKS
The Chinese Type 56 SKS rifle is another weapon on the War Rig. It lacks both a bayonet and cleaning rod, and features a pair of Weaver rails for mounting a scope as well as a blocky grip extension affixed to the underside of the stock in a manner visually reminiscent of a Colt Monitor. The latter is presumably to give Furiosa (Charlize Theron) a better grip on it with her mechanical left arm, though outside of fiction it is probably to get the muzzle of the SKS further away from Hardy's face during the shoulder-firing sequence. She uses it during the last leg of the first chase, gunning down several Rock Riders and one of Immortan Joe's Imperators. Afterwards, she attaches a long-range scope to the SKS and uses it as a sniping weapon, first to kill two pursuing Imperators and later to shoot out the Bullet Farmer's spotlight in the Green Place after Max fails to do so, blinding the Farmer in the process. Toast the Knowing (Zoe Kravitz) is seen handling the SKS as well, once to reload it during the first chase and again when sorting the War Rig's available weapons and ammunition.
Heckler & Koch G3A4
The Ripsaw Imperator (Greg van Borssum, the film's stunt coordinator, in a cameo) is seen armed with a Heckler & Koch G3A4.
Heckler & Koch G36C
A Heckler & Koch G36C is seen on board the Bullet Farmer's Peacemaker vehicle.
Norinco Type 56
After using up the ammo for his MP5K-PDWs in his blind shooting spree, the Bullet Farmer switches to a pair of mounted Norinco Type 56s (according to the graphic novel prequel, the Farmer's previous name was "Major Kalashnikov").
Jezail Musket
The Keeper of the Seeds (Melissa Jaffer) is seen cleaning what appears to be a Jezail musket during the interlude between the second and final chase scenes.
Traditions Kentucky Rifle
Some of the Vuvalini women use Traditions Kentucky Rifles, a modern version of the Kentucky Flintlock Rifle that utilizes with a caplock mechanism rather than a flintlock. During the final chase, Max takes a half-loaded Kentucky rifle from one of the Vuvalini (Joy Smithers) and fires it at a Polecat trying to get to the War Rig's cab, spearing him with its ramrod.
Enfield Pattern 1853
Most of the Vuvalini women use Enfield Pattern 1853 rifles (with Snider conversions) as their primary weapons.
Winchester Model 1892
During the final chase, the Valkyrie (Megan Gale), repeatedly fires a Winchester Model 1892 at the Gigahorse in an attempt to kill Immortan Joe after her motorcycle is destroyed.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
Browning M2HBs decorated with chrome plating are seen mounted on several of the War Boys' vehicles.
RPD Light Machine Gun
What appears to be an RPD Light Machine Gun is mounted on The People Eater's modified limousine. This machine gun also has a launcher mounted above its barrel.
Launchers
M79 Grenade Launcher
An M79 Grenade Launcher modified with a pistol grip and a vertical foregrip is used by The Ace (Jon Iles), a captain of the Warboys detachment accompanying Furiosa on the War Rig convoy. A stripped down M79 is also integrated into the RPD light machine gun mounted on the People Eater's limousine. While bearing down on the War Rig during the Bullet Farmer's insane shooting spree, one of the Bullet Farmer's men fires the similar launcher, but without the foregrip.
Webley & Scott Signal Pistol
A Webley & Scott No. 1 Mk. III* Signal Pistol is seen among Furiosa's weapons confiscated by Max. Furiosa later is seen using it.
Other
Custom Automatic Weapon
Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones) also is seen wielding an automatic weapon that resembles a heavy machine gun, complete with something like spade grips and a tank machine gun trigger. Production designer Colin Gibson, on the DVD's special feature, described it as a "homemade .50 caliber machine gun".
Custom Weapons
As with most Mad Max films, some Wasteland Residents carry their own custom-made weapons.
Flamethrowers
Several of the vehicles in the War Boys' armada are equipped with homemade flamethrowers. Immortan Joe's "drummer boy," the Doof Warrior (iOTA) is equipped with a double-necked guitar with an integral flamethrower (according to MTV, this flamethrower was, at director George Miller's insistence, fully functional).
Crossbow
One of the War Boys is seen with a crossbow. The crossbow appears to be a homemade, but based on the Stryker Strykezone 380.
Crossbow Pistol
One of the War Boys is seen with a crossbow slung on his arm, but it is never used.
The Bullet Farmer
The Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter), who styles himself the "Judge, Jury and Executioner" of the Bullet Farm, wears a headdress of bullets (which appear to be 7.62 caliber) in parody of a British Judge's wig. He has also replaced some of his teeth with bullets, which can be extracted and loaded into his weapons. After the Farmer is killed, Max brings a sack of weapons and ammo back to Furiosa and the Wives, with the headdress draped over his shoulder.
