K-911 is a direct-to-video 1999 action comedy, the second installment in K-9 film series. It is directed by Charles T. Kanganis and stars James Belushi as Det. Michael Dooley. Accompanied by German Shepherd Jerry Lee, Dooly continues his police service (unlike K-9, the story is set in Los Angeles, not in San Diego) until he finds himself a target of a psychotic murderer. As Jerry Lee is not young and sometimes fails to perform his duties, Capt. Byers orders Dooley to team up with Sergeant Wendy Welles and her Doberman Pinscher dog Zeus.
The following weapons were used in the film K-911:
Revolvers
Ruger Super Redhawk
When Michael Dooley (James Belushi) finds himself under grave danger, he tries to replace his service Beretta 92FS with a more formidable gun. At first he takes a Ruger Super Redhawk, but Captain Byers (James Handy) immediately confiscates it.
Dan Wesson Supermag
When Captain Byers confiscates Ruger Super Redhawk, Dooley, like a stage magician, produced from nowhere another large revolver, this time a Dan Wesson Supermag.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose
A Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose is Captain Byers' (James Handy) personal sidearm.
Smith & Wesson Model 629 Competitor
One of Phil Cage's henchmen is armed with a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Competitor.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
In the opening scene a security guard carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver.
Unidentified revolver
An unidentified revolver is one of the guns at the disposal of parolee Harry Stripe (Vincent Castellanos). It appears to be stainless steel.
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
Det. Michael Dooley (James Belushi) and most other LAPD detectives and officers carry Beretta 92FS pistols (Dooley's pistol has wooden grips). In the final scene Dooley's pistol falls in hands of Devon Lang (Wade Williams). Illegal gun dealer Phil Cage (Scotch Ellis Loring) also is seen with a Beretta 92FS pistol.
M1911A1
In the opening scene one of the security guards of the armoured van is armed with an M1911A1 pistol. During the firefight Dooley (James Belushi) takes the guard's pistol and dual-wields it together with his Beretta 92FS.
Smith & Wesson 5906
A Smith & Wesson 5906 is Sgt. Wendy Welles (Christine Tucci) personal sidearm. When Devon Lang (Wade Williams) appears in the police precinct in the final scene, he holds a Smith & Wesson pistol (probably the same 5906 reused) in a continuty error but nearly immediately it is replaced with Ruger KP94DC that is used throughout the scene.
Ruger KP94DC
In the final scene Devon Lang (Wade Williams) uses a Ruger KP94DC. A KP94DC (probably same prop reused) is also briefly seen among Harry Stripe's guns.
Glock 17
One of Phil Cage's henchmen is armed with a Glock 17 with stainless slide, muzzle compensator, underbarrel red dot sight and extended magazine. When Zeus disarms the criminal, Sgt. Welles (Christine Tucci) grabs the pistol.
Heckler & Koch USP Match
A Heckler & Koch USP Match is seen among Harry Stripe's guns.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
Dooley (James Belushi) holds a pistol-gripped Ithaca 37 with muzzle choke as a part of his rearmament, but to his woe this gun was also confiscated by Captain Byers. Same looking gun is seen among Harry Stripe's weapons and in Phil Cage's office.
A standard Ithaca 37 shotgun is seen in hands of the driver of armoured van in the opening scene. In the final scene a police officer holds an Ithaca 37 with pistol grip and rifle sights, and a plainclothes detective is armed with an Ithaca 37 with fixed stock and also with rifle sights.
Rifles and Assault Rifles
AR-15 Subcompact
The man in heavy armor who attack Dooley in the opening scene (Spoiler Alert: the gunner is Devon Lang) is armed with a custom subcompact version of AR-15. Officer Perry (Joe Palese) identifies the gun as "modified M-16 by Arms Amens 2000" (obviously fictional company name). Identical gun (must be same prop reused) is used by illegal gun dealer Phil Cage (Scotch Ellis Loring).
Heckler & Koch Sniper Rifle
What appears to be a sniper rifle with typical Heckler & Koch features is used by Devon Lang (Wade Williams) in the night sequence. It resembles Heckler & Koch PSG-1 or Heckler & Koch SR9 but it also can be a visually modified HK91 rather than a genuine HK sniper rifle.
M16 Carbine
An M16 Carbine of unidentified version is seen among Lang's guns. It is fitted with M203 grenade launcher.
Norinco Type 56
A Norinco Type 56 assault rifle is one of the guns at the disposal of Harry Stripe (Vincent Castellanos).
Other Weapons
M136 AT4
Phil Cage (Scotch Ellis Loring) uses an M136 AT4 launcher to destroy Dooley's Ford Mustang.
M203
An M16 Carbine, fitted with M203 grenade launcher, is seen among Lang's guns.
Phil Cage's Arsenal
A lof of weapons is seen in Phil Cage's arsenal, hidden in storehouse.
