Planet Terror is the first half of 2007's Grindhouse double bill which includes Death Proof. This film was directed by Robert Rodriguez, and follows a group of survivors that struggle to escape a town filled with inhabitants infected with a deadly virus. Planet Terror was released on DVD separately with additional scenes added and featured a mock trailer for a revenge film called Machete, which was subsequently expanded into a full theatrical film to be released in 2010.
The following weapons were used in the film Planet Terror:
Colt Python
Sheriff Hague (Michael Biehn) carries a Colt Python as sidearm throughout the film. Deputy Tolo (Tom Savini) uses a Colt Python outside the police station, but it switches to a Ruger Security Six at the hospital. Wray (Freddy Rodriguez) is given a Ruger Security Six by Sheriff Hague at The Bone Shack it then switches to a Colt Python and he uses it through the end of the film.
Close up of Hague's Python.
Sheriff Hague fires his Python at one of the zombies. Director Robert Rodriguez notes on the DVD commentary that
Michael Biehn asked him if there should be a shot of him reloading. Rodriguez said the audience would be wondering more about how Cherry fires her gun without pulling the trigger, than gun reloads.

Ruger Security Six
Deputy Tolo (Tom Savini) uses a Ruger Security Six revolver at the hospital. Sheriff Hague (Michael Biehn) hands one to Wray at The Bone Shack (it changes to a Colt Python after leaving on the pocket bike), while Cherry hands him a Smith & Wesson Model 586. Both are flashily twirled.

Rock Island Armory M1911A1 - .45 ACP
Muldoon fires his 1911A1 at Abby when the deal for the "shit" goes bad. Which misses and hits the guy next to him (Robert Rodriguez.)
You got nothing to say huh? That's funny 'cause I could've swore you just gave me a "fuck you" look right now. You want to say "fuck you" to me? Note Rock Island Armory on the slide.
After J.T. creates a distraction, Wray manages to get a 1911A1 off one of the soldiers. But one of the other soldiers draws a Ruger Security Six on Wray.
Wray fires the 1911A1 upside down at the soldier. His thumb would be hurting like hell from the slide recoiling back. Also the grip safety must be faulty in order fire.
I have seen me some crazy ass shit in my day...but I ain't never seen me a one-legged stripper. I have seen me a stripper with one breast, and I've seen me a stripper with 12 toes, and I've seen me a stripper with no brains at all, but I ain't never seen me a one-legged stripper. And I've been to Morocco.

Gun Case
In the police stations armory several shotguns and rifles are seen.
From left the right. A Mossberg 500, Winchester 1894, two Mossberg 500's. The last two I can't tell.
- The last firearm in the rack is a shotgun and it appears to me to be a Winchester Model 12 from the barrel, magazine tube, and how they are attached to one another. The first to last is a rifle of some sort. It almost appears to be a M1 carbine derivative.SAWGunner89 19:06, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

it may bee a pardini???
Looks to me like the Polish P-64 Makarov-copy.
H&K P9 without a doubt.
- This does not appear to be a Heckler and Koch P9 or P9S to me. I believe the P-64 is a close guess.SAWGunner89 19:24, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
