The Hostage Gang (Le gang des otages) is a 1973 French-Italian crime movie directed by Édouard Molinaro. When small time robbers Gilbert Nordier (Daniel Cauchy) and Serge Donati (Gilles Ségal) are arrested, Gilbert's wife Liliane (Bulle Ogier) organizes their spectacular escape in the middle of court. Taking the magistrates hostage, the gang flees one last time.
The following weapons were used in the film The Hostage Gang (Le gang des otages):
Revolvers
Gilbert Nordier's (Daniel Cauchy) handgun is a snub nose revolver in Smith & Wesson Model 10 style. The revolver with square butt and heavy barrel resembles the S&W Model 10HB snub nose, but the shape of the front sight allows to identify it as Ruby Extra, a Llama produced variant of Model 10.

Gilbert holds his revolver during the street robbery.
The Smith & Wesson cylinder release is seen.
Gilbert aims his revolver at Liliane when he tries to hijack her car.
The revolver is seen during the robbery in the supermarcet.
The revolver is seen from the back when Gilbert takes Magistrate Imbert (Maurice Travail) as hostage.
A good view of the front sight of the revolver.
Arminius Revolver
An Arminius revolver, possibly an HW-3, is briefly seen in hands of a police detective.
Pistols
Beretta Model 70
Liliane (Bulle Ogier) owns a bright nickel plated Beretta Model 70. This pistol is also seen in hands of Gilbert Nordier (Daniel Cauchy).
Beretta Model 70 - .32 ACP. The screen gun has bright nickel finish and brown grips.

Gilbert plays a dangerous game with the gun.
Liliane draws the pistol from her handbag and takes hostages.
Liliane threatens Magistrate Imbert.
Liliane holds Imbert at gunpoint.
Walther P38
Serge Donati (Gilles Ségal) uses a Walther P38 for most of his robberies.

Unique Rr 51
Unique Rr 51 is seen in hands of gang member Maurice Perret (Gérard Darrieu).

Maurice holds the pistol. The grip is seen.
The shape of the rear part allows to identify the gun as Rr 51 rather than Model 17.
Maurice puts his pistol on the shelf while he takes the cash from the safe.
Beretta M1934
During the arrest of the gang, a plainclothes police detective holds a Beretta M1934.
A police detective holds Serge at gunpoint.
FN Model 1922
One of the pistols, forcibly taken by Gilbert and Serge from police officers in the courthouse, seems to be an FN Model 1922.
Gilbert holds a pistol, taken from a police officer. This is most likely FN 1922.
Unidentified pistols
When rival criminal Jo Franck (
Maurice Barrier) hunts for Serge Donati, he holds a pistol that is seen only in distance.

One more detective with a pistol in same scene.
Serge disarms a police officer under the threat of his P38 during the hostage scene. The pistol in holster is seen only partially. Maybe this is an FN 1922, like the gun that Gilbert takes from another police officer.
