The Return of the Pink Panther is the third film in the Pink Panther movie series to be directed by Blake Edwards and marked the return of Peter Sellers to the role of Inspector Clouseau (Alan Arkin appeared as the character in 1968's Inspector Clouseau). Chief Inspector Dreyfus (Herbert Lom) keeps what appears to be a Beretta M1934 in his desk drawer which he confuses with a cigarette lighter that is also shaped like the handgun. hilarity ensues
