This Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum is the service revolver of Inspector Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood).

All the rogue motorcycle cops in the death squad and Lt. Briggs are armed with these .357 Magnum revolvers and use them on mutliple occasions, fitted with suppressors. Suppressors do not actually work on most revolvers because of the small gap between the cylinder and the barrel.
