Joliet policeman Lt. Snyder (Charles Durning) carries a Colt Official Police.
Colt Detective Special
On the last day of the con, Henry Gondforff (Paul Newman) sticks a Colt Detective Special in his waistband. He later uses this to shoot Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford), loaded with blanks.
Colt New Service
The black-gloved gunman (Joe Tornatore), hired by Gondorff, shoots Salino with a suppressed Colt New Service that he constructs in his room.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snub Nose
Loretta Salino (Dimitra Arliss) carries a suppressed [Smith & Wesson Model 10]] when she goes to kill Johnny Hooker. (This movie relies twice on the myth that a revolver can be sound-suppressed).
