Metal Gear: Survive is an 2018 videogame in the Metal Gear series. It is set in an alternative timeline to the events directly after Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, in which you portray a member of Big Boss's private army transported to an alternative dimension.
The game continues to use the same fictional weapons from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, including new melee and mounted types unique to this game.
