Handguns
Glock 17
Lt. Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan) continues to carry a Glock 17. In "Targets of Opportunity" (S4E07), a third gen Glock is pulled by Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell).
Glock 22
The .40 caliber Glock 22, the current standard-issue handgun for LAPD-recruits, is carried by uniformed officers in Season 4. The pistol also appears to be carried by Detective Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni) in Season 4.
Beretta 92FS
Detective Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) continues to carry the LAPD's previously standard issue Beretta 92FS as his onduty sidearm.
FN Five-seveN
The FN Five-seveN is seen as a murder weapon in "Hostage to Fortune" (S4E08).
Smith & Wesson 6906
Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Anthony John Denison) carries a Smith & Wesson 6906.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
A Mossberg 500 Cruiser loaded with non lethal rounds is used by Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) in Season 4's premiere "A Rose Is a Rose" (S4E01).

A Remington 870 fitted with a saddle shell holder and extended mag tube is held by Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) in "Targets of Opportunity" (S4E07).
