The Wilby Conspiracy is a 1975 thriller film directed by Ralph Wilson. Set in Apartheid-era South Africa, Michael Caine and Sidney Poitier star as a British mining engineer and an African activist who become fugitives of the law. They are pursued by a South African secret policeman (Nicol Williamson) who hopes that they will reveal the secret location of Wilby, leader of the anti-Apartheid movement.

BOSS agent Major Horn (Nicol Williamson) and Van Heerden both appear to use the Webley .455 MK V in the finale. Keough also uses a Webley .455 MK V.

Winchester Model 70
Rina's estranged husband Blane Van Niekirk (Rutger Hauer in his first English-language role) attempts to shoot Twala with a Winchester Model 70 before being disarmed by Keough. Keough then uses the rifle to force Blane to fly him, Twala and Rina across the border into Botswana.
