A more correct phrase would be, 'The Navy would use the film as a ''vehicle'' or ''platform'' or ''opportunity'' to 'increase recruitment' since it would be exploited by the Navy, just like they did when [[Top Gun]] was such a big hit. If you need a program to take screencaps, a good program is VLC player. You can also use Fast Stone Image viewer to take stills off your computer screen. --Ben41 06:29, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

I was not offended at all by your post in the battleship discussion page. I pointed it out merely because you used the word completely wrong. A 'Scapegoat' is "the practice of singling out any party for unmerited negative treatment or blame." In the context of your post, you said that the film would be a 'scapegoat for the Navy to increase recruitment'. The term Scapegoat made no sense, that's all. A more correct phrase would be, 'The Navy would use the film as a vehicle or platform or opportunity to 'increase recruitment' since it would be exploited by the Navy, just like they did when Top Gun was such a big hit.
