The following weapons were used in the film Spiral:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
After murdering witness Charlie Emmerson (Frank Licari) in a flashback, Officer Peter Dunleavy (Patrick McManus) puts a Beretta 92FS in his hand to make it look like an attack.
Glock 17
Detective Marv "Boz" Bozwick (Dan Petronijevic) holds a 2nd Gen Glock 17 in the opening scene, chasing pickpocket Benny Wrights (Chad Camilleri) in the subway. Detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock), working undercover, commits a robbery at a motel with a 3rd Gen Glock. Many police officers and detectives, including Officer Pat Jones (Trevor Gretzky), Officer Grant (Nadine Roden), Officer Jeannie Lewis (Ali Johnson), Captain Angie Garza (Marisol Nichols), Detective Deborah Kraus (Edie Inksetter), Detective Lieutenant Tim O'Brien (Thomas Mitchell), Detective William Schenk (Max Minghella), Detective Drury (K.C. Collins) and Sergeant Morgey Silva (Dylan Roberts) are armed with pistols throughout the film. Noticing the open door to his apartment, Zeke pulls out his gun and slowly walks around it until he meets his father. At the order of Detective Fitch (Richard Zeppieri), the pawn shop owner (Peter Hoy) gives the gun from gun rack. In the flashback, Zeke chases a criminal with the pistol until he gets shot. Zeke and William use guns during the chase and interrogation of drug seller Speez (Christopher Ramsay). In another flashback, Officer Peter Dunleavy (Patrick McManus) kills witness Charlie Emmerson with his service Glock to cover for his dirty cop accomplice. Captain Garza tries to open the safe door with her Glock when a Pig Mask Man attacks her in the basement of the police station. The SWAT officers who arrived on William's call also carry pistols in holsters at the end of the movie.
Remarkably, throughout the movie, Zeke constantly swaps the 2nd and 3rd generations of his Glock, which is probably a continuity error.
SIG-Sauer P226R
One of the robbers (Howard Green) carries a SIG-Sauer P226R as a sidearm, but never fires it.
SIG-Sauer P239
One of the robbers (Donavan Boucher) loads and later uses a SIG-Sauer P239 during the motel robbery.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
Retired police chief Marcus Banks (Samuel L. Jackson) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 19 revolver as his primary weapon throughout the film. In the flashback, Chief Marcus raises his gun, threatening whoever didn't help Zeke. Moving deeper into the abandoned soap factory, Marcus holds his revolver at the ready until he meets Pig Mask Man. After the attack, William Emmerson (Max Minghella) takes the revolver and fires several times in the air, calling the police. He then gives it to Zeke, testing his loyalty. Ezekiel (Chris Rock) first puts the gun to William's forehead, but puts it away, realizing that his father would suffer because of it.
Smith & Wesson 5946
In the flashback, the criminal (Nick Alachiotis) fleeing from Zeke is armed with a Smith & Wesson 5946.
Submachine Guns
IMI Mini Uzi
One of the robbers (Matthew Lee) uses a IMI Mini Uzi during the motel robbery. Drug seller Speez (Christopher Ramsay) pulls out a Mini Uzi after a paint bomb explodes and tries to fight off the detectives.
Assault Rifles
M4A1
The SWAT squad is armed with M4A1 carbines with flashlights, lasers and EOTech sights when they arrive at the soap factory. The officers enter the room and order everyone to surrender.
Shotguns
Improvised Shotgun
A single-shot metal-tube shotgun is attached to a large bracelet on Marcus Banks' arm. When the SWAT team knocks the cord off the door, the hand with the shotgun rises toward the SWAT officers, forcing them to show resistance.
Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser
One of the robbers (Howard Green) use a Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser as the main gun during the robbery.
Remington 870
What appears to be a Remington 870 shotguns are seen on the gun rack at the pawn shop. One SWAT officer is armed with a Remington shotgun.
Others
Gas Grenade
Pig Mask Man throws several gas grenades into the basement of the police station to take out Captain Garza and start a new game.
