Kandahar (Russian Title: Кандагар) is a 2010 Russian film directed by Andrei Kavun (Piranha (Okhota na piranyu)). The five-man crew of a Russian cargo plane are captured in Kandahar, Afghanistan by the Taliban, and after being held in captivity for over a year, they make an attempt to escape. The film is based on actual events.
