The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the television series Major Crimes:
Handguns
Glock 17
Lt. Mike Tao (Michael Paul Chan) continues to carry a Glock 17, as does Detective Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni) and uniformed officers. In "Targets of Opportunity" (S4E07), a third gen Glock is pulled by Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell).
Beretta 92FS
Both Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) and Detective Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) continue to carry the LAPD's previously standard issue Beretta 92FS. In "Open Line" (S4E03), Felix Koster (Sean Harmon) takes a Beretta 92FS off an LAPD officer who was trying to arrest him.
Beretta 92FS Inox
What appears to be a Beretta 92FS Inox is used by Mark Hickman (Jason Gedrick) to threaten in "Hindsight, Part 3" (S4E21).
Beretta 85
In "Hindsight, Part 4" (S4E22), a suspect appears to pull a Beretta 85 during a hotel shootout.
FN Five-seveN
The FN Five-seveN is seen as a murder weapon in "Hostage to Fortune" (S4E08).
Kimber Custom TLE II
Lt. Chuck Cooper (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) appears to carry a Kimber Custom TLE II pistol throughout Season 4. In some episodes, his pistol is fitted with Surefire weaponlight.
Smith & Wesson 6906
Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Anthony John Denison) carries a Smith & Wesson 6906.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
A Mossberg 500 Cruiser loaded with non lethal rounds is used by Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) in Season 4's premiere "A Rose Is a Rose" (S4E01).
Remington 870
A Remington 870 fitted with a saddle shell holder and extended mag tube is held by Lt. Louie Provenza (G.W. Bailey) in "Targets of Opportunity" (S4E07).
Rifles/Carbines
Heckler & Koch HK416
LAPD SWAT officers are armed with Heckler & Koch HK416 rifles throughout the series.
Colt M4A1
Some SWAT officers are armed with the M4A1.
Submachine Guns
IMI Mini Uzi
A Mini Uzi is the weapon used in a major murder case in Season 5 and is featured in several episodes, starting with "Hindsight, Part 1" (S4E19).
