A Quiet Outpost (Tikhaya zastava) is a 2011 Russian war movie directed by Sergey Makhovikov. The story is based on real events that took place in July 13, 1993 on Tajikistan-Afghanistan border where a Russian border guard outpost was attacked by Islamic radicals (after Tajikistan became an independent state, Russian border guards still were disposed on former USSR southern border until Tajikistan formed its own border guard in late 1990s).

Handguns
Makarov PM
The commander of the outpost Capt. Pankov (Andrey Chadov) and Praporshik (Petty Officer) Gritsyuk (Sergey Selin) carry Makarov PM pistols. They are seen only in holsters.
EKOL Tuna
In one scene Lyuba (Larisa Shakhvorostova) fires a stainless steel pistol that appears to be an EKOL Tuna, a blank firing replica based on FIE Titan.
Unidentified pistol 2
Fayzullo (Faridunsho Rakhmatulloyev), the leader of Islamists, carries a pistol in large holster. Only a small part of the grip can be seen.
Assault Rifles
AKS-74
Most Russian border guards, Spetsnaz soldiers and numerous Islamists carry AKS-74 assault rifles with black plastic furniture.
AK-74
Some Russian border guards and Islamists are armed with AK-74 assault rifles.
AKM
Islamists also are armed with AKM assault rifles.
Sniper Rifles
Dragunov SVD
Sgt. Durov (Yuri Konovalov) and a sniper of the Spetsnaz unit are armed with SVD sniper rifles.
Machine Guns
PKM
During the battle Sgt. "Trasser" Kiryanov (Aleksandr Alyoshkin) fires a PKM machine gun on bipod. In the final scene the PKM is seen in hands of Capt. Pankov (Andrey Chadov). A PKM is also seen mounted on a Mi-8 helicopter.
PKT
A PKT machine gun is mounted on a BTR-80 coaxial with a KPVT. A PKT is also seen in a nose mounting of a Mi-8 helicopter.
KPVT
A KPVT heavy machine gun is mounted on a BTR-80.
Yakushev-Borzov Yak-B
Yakushev-Borzov Yak-B machine guns are mounted on Mi-24 helicopters.
Other Weapons
F-1 Hand Grenade
During the battle F-1 hand grenades are used by Capt. Pankov (Andrey Chadov) and several Spetsnaz soldiers.
GP-25 Grenade Launcher
Lt. Bobrovskiy (Igor Savochkin), Praporshik Gritsyuk (Sergey Selin) and several Spetsnaz soldiers are armed with AKS-74 assault rifles with GP-25 grenade launchers.
RPG-26
During the battle Islamists use RPG-26 rocket launchers.
2B14 Podnos Mortar
2B14 Podnos Mortars are used by Islamists during the attack on the outpost. Lt. Bobrovskiy (Igor Savochkin) and his Spetsnaz unit capture three mortars and use them.
SP81 Flare Pistol
In one scene a border guard soldier signals to a helicopter, firing an SP81 Flare Pistol.
SM Signal Mine
In one scene a Russian border guard plants an SM signal mine.
