Hardy Krüger (Full name: Eberhard August Franz Ewald Krüger) was a German film actor, radio play narrator, voice actor, and writer. He was one of the most successful German actors of the 1950s and 1960s. After establishing himself as a film star in Germany, he became world-famous through international film productions such as The One That Got Away, Hatari!, The Flight of the Phoenix, Barry Lyndon, A Bridge Too Far, and The Wild Geese.
