Boa vs. Python is a 2004 science fiction crossover movie directed by David Flores. It concerns a conflict between two massive snakes.
The film pits the antaongists of two previous giant snake B-movies against each other, following conventions set by other similar movies such as Alien vs. Predator and Freddy vs. Jason.
The following weapons were used in the film Boa Vs. Python:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Pistols
Glock 17 (Airsoft)
During the boxing match, Eve (Broddick's girlfriend) pulls out what appears to be an airsoft Glock 17 to threaten a contestant who does not return to the match. Eve is later armed with dual-wielded Glocks for some part of the hunt until she trades it for Broddick's weapon. These appear to be older WE-Tech airsoft pistols.
Unknown Pistol
One of the US agents arrests Broddick with an unknown pistol when he tries to beat up Emmett.
SIG-Sauer P220
When Emmett and Monica first unveil the boa constrictor that they intend to use to combat the python, Agent Sharpe says that he will shoot and kill the snakes. He is dissuaded from doing this when Emmett explains the presence of a "tranquilizer device" (A SIG-Sauer P220 with telescopic sight and laser sight) and arms himself with this until he is killed. After his death, Emmett picks up the non-lethal weapon and uses it against Broddick, allowing the snakes to kill the hunter.
Shotguns
Unknown Shotguns
When the python breaks out from the vehicle, multiple thugs are armed with shotguns. One of these appears to be a toy.
Submachine Guns
Uzi
Another thug who tries to kill the reticulated python is armed with an Uzi.
Rifles
Colt XM177 (Mock-up)
Most of the US soldiers are armed with mock-up rifles that appear to be M16/SP1 receivers with cut-down barrels and fake muzzle moderators installed. The resulting rifle resembles the Colt XM177. During the ending bar scene, Broddick later picks up the weapon and uses it in an unsuccessful attempt to avenge his girlfriend.
M16-style Rifle
Foley, one of the hunters invited by Broddick to kill the python, has what appears to be an M16 variant. Some soldiers also use M16A2-style rifles with vented handguards for use with the M203 (but no launcher).
AK Variant
James (Mr. Danner's son) carries what seems to be some kind of AK. This appears to be an airsoft gun.
Mauser Karabiner 98AZ
Broddick is armed with a Karabiner 98AZ without the stacking hook for part of the hunt until he trades it out for Eve's jammed Glock 22 and picks up a flamethrower instead. Eve later puts down the weapon when she is interested in snake eggs.
Heckler & Koch G3
A government agent is armed with a G3 variant.
FN FAL
A soldier is briefly seen armed with what appears to be an FN FAL.
Muzzleloading Rifle
At least one of the hunters who Broddick invites to hunt the giant python, Mr. Danner, has a muzzleloading rifle of some sort.
Machine Guns
Unknown Machine Gun
At least one American soldier has an unknown machine gun.
Sniper Rifles
Norinco NDM-86
One of the hunters Broddick invites, Tex, is armed with a .308 Winchester Norinco NDM-86.
Explosives
Fragmentation grenade
When James and Mr. Danner fire on what they think to be a snake, Danner throws an explosive grenade at the 'snake'.
Dynamite
When the python escapes from the truck at the starting montage, one of Broddick's thugs tries to unsuccessfully destroy it with sticks of dynamite.
Launchers
M72 LAW
In an unsuccessful attempt to stop Broddick's hijacked APC, one of the soldiers fires an M72 LAW at the vehicle.
Heavy weapons
Flamethrower
Part-way through the hunt, Broddick exchanges his initial weapon for a flamethrower. He is later taken into custody but reclaims the weapon, using it in the bar at the end of the movie until it runs out of ammunition.
Other
Crossbow
Used by one of the hunters.
Stun device
Emmett and Monica both implant a stunning device on Betty, the boa constrictor, to shock her non-lethally if the need ever arises. The device is used at the climax, when both snakes end up fighting on a train track as a train approaches.
Unknown Weapon
Some kind of weapon is carried by a thug to stop the python from breaking out. This is likely a toy or production-made prop.
