In the summer of 1989 several friends witness Japan being attacked by several kaiju and Gamera arriving to save the day. Not including video games, this anime marks both Gamera and Gyaos first onscreen appearance since Gamera's last film Gamera The Brave which was released in 2006. The series is also notable for the return of several other enemy monsters who haven't been seen since their debut film appearances (not including stock footage, video games and comic books). The show was released on September 7 2023.
