The Beguiled is a 1971 gothic horror film starring Clint Eastwood as a wounded Civil War veteran who is taken in by a boarding school composed entirely of Confederate women. During the stay, more and more stranger events begin to take place. Director Don Siegel and Eastwood made this film just prior to Dirty Harry.
The following weapons were used in the film The Beguiled:
Enfield 1853
In a flashback, a British 1853 Enfield rifle is fired by Cpl. John McBurney (Clint Eastwood) on some Confederate soldiers.
Colt 1860 Army
Several of the Confederates that confront McBurney are seen carrying Colt 1860 Army revolvers.
- The gun on the left looks like an Eli Whitney 1860 revolver.
Sharps Rifle
Another Confederate is seen with a Sharps Rifle.
Flintlock pistol
McBurney finds a Flintlock pistol in a dresser drawer and threatens the head mistress with it.
