Taking place in 1987 during the peak of the Lebanese Civil War, the film stars Ha Jung-woo as Korean diplomat Lee Min-jun. After receiving a call from a Korean diplomat who was kidnapped in Lebanon one year prior, Min-jun volunteers to go to the civil war-torn nation to negotiate with his kidnappers to bring him back to South Korea.
