In Day 2 of 24, former agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is recruited by CTU to go undercover to order to prevent a terrorist group from detonating a bomb somewhere in the city of Los Angeles.
The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series 24:
Pistols
SIG-Sauer P228
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) continues to use a CTU-issued SIG-Sauer P228 pistol in the second season.
SIG-Sauer P229
Due to a continuity mistake, Jack's P228 turns into the similar SIG-Sauer P229 in some scenes. It is likely that the armorers had the more common P229 on set as a backup, as this same error occurred in season 1. We can be certain that it is a P229 and not a P228 because of the short slide serrations, and the word "stainless" being clearly visible on the slide. The slide on a P228 was made of stamped alloy steel that was then nickel-plated on certain models. The slide on a P229 were milled out of a single block of stainless steel.
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is carried by several members of CTU, including Director George Mason (Xander Berkeley) when he discovers the weapons-grade plutonium in Panorama City in Episode 3 and Agent Tom Baker (Daniel Dae Kim). FBI Special Agent Rick Phillips (Michael Cudlitz) carries a Glock as his sidearm and notably uses it to threaten Nina Myers in Episode 9 "4:00pm - 5:00pm".
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used by Jack to eliminate a witness (Carl Ciarfalio) in Episode 1. Also used by LAPD officers, notably to kill a terrorist firing on Mason. Also Jack Bauer uses it in the final episodes.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) takes a Beretta 92FS Inox off of Eddie Grant (Douglas O'Keeffe) in Episode 4 - "11:00am - 12:00pm" when he breaks from his undercover identity to get the address of Grant's boss, Joseph Wald (Jon Gries). When Grant's buddies see the action, though, a gunfight ensues, and Bauer uses both the Beretta and his own revolver to eliminate them. Grant takes several rounds in the face from the Beretta. It's also used by Yusuf Auda during the shootout at the warehouse, and later by one of the racists who beat Yusuf Auda to death. It's also the sidearm of Tony Almeida.
Beretta 9000S
Jack is seen giving Kate Warner (Sarah Wynter) a Beretta 9000S during a shootout in Episode 18 "1:00am-2:00am".
Beretta 92FS Non-Gun
When Syed Ali (Francesco Quinn) pulls a handgun on Paul Koplin (Al Sapienza), the "Beretta" he uses is actually a flashpaper Non Gun, used for safety reasons.
Colt M1911A1
Captain Jonathan Wallace (Gregg Henry) uses an M1911A1 during the warehouse shootout.
Heckler & Koch USP
In a continuity error, Sgt. Arroyo (Sal Landi) is seen using a Heckler & Koch USP to kill terrorists firing on George Mason (the officer had earlier held a S&W 4904). Chris, one of the men on Eddie Grant's crew that bombed CTU also had a USP. When Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is revived after being tortured to a near-death state, his initial torturer is killed and Raymond O'Hara (Brian Goodman) takes over. But as he attempts to get information from Jack, a doctor forced to help him attacks him instead, allowing Bauer to grab Raymond's gun - a suppressed Heckler & Koch USP. Bauer dispatches Raymond and his guards, and later uses it to subdue several racists who kidnapped Kate Warner (Sarah Wynter) and got ahold of an important computer chip.
IMI Jericho 941 R (Stainless)
In Episode 7 "2:00pm-3:00pm", Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke) is seen trying use a stainless Jericho 941 R to blow a lock open before Jack catches up to her.
Smith & Wesson 5904
Sgt. Arroyo (Sal Landi) is seen carrying the Smith & Wesson 5904 while investigating a warehouse in Panorama City in Episode 3 - "10:00am-11:00am". Later, Arroyo's handgun becomes a USP in a continuity error.
Smith & Wesson 3913 Ladysmith
A suppressed Smith & Wesson 3913 "Ladysmith" is held by Marie Warner (Laura Harris) in "Day 2: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m." (S2E10).
Smith & Wesson SW99
Peter Kingsley (Tobin Bell) uses a Smith & Wesson SW99 during the shootout at the Los Angeles Coliseum in the season finale, Episode 24.
Walther PPK
In the Season 2 finale, one of Peter Kingsley's henchmen (played by stuntman and coordinator J.J. Perry) has a Walther PPK in an ankle holster. During a fight with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), he tries to use it with no success, inadvertently discharging the weapon three times. A few minutes later, Jack tries to use it against Kingsley himself, but to no avail - the gun is empty.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) carries a snubnosed Smith & Wesson Model 60 while undercover, later seen dual-wielding it with a Beretta 92FS Inox. What appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 60 is given to Kim by Lonnie (Kevin Dillon) for protection against cougars. She later uses it to scare away a dangerous stranger. The revolver is then seen held during a standoff in a convenience store.
Submachine Guns
IMI Uzi
An IMI Uzi is used by a terrorist to fire on Mason and the LAPD team infiltrating the warehouse in Panorama City.
IMI Micro Uzi
