The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series SEAL Team:
Rifles/Carbines
Heckler & Koch HK416
The SEALs in the series all carry Heckler & Koch HK416 carbines with 10.4-inch barrels, Magpul PMags, Magpul CTR stock, Geissele Super Modular Rail HK handguard, EOTech XPS3, Magpul RVG, Surefire M300 Scout mounted on a Unity Tactical Fusion and a Surefire SOCOM-RC2 556 suppressor. All the HK416 carbines are painted in dark earth camo. An HK416 with a 14.5" barrel is used by Clay in a DMR role.
SIG-Sauer MCX Rattler
In Season 5's premiere "Trust, But Verify: Part 1" (S5E01), Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot) is seen armed with a suppressed SIG-Sauer MCX Rattler SBR during a mission in North Korea.
Maxim Defense SDX/MDX 508
Bravo team is seen using the Maxim Defense SDX chambered in 7.62x39mm as their "indigenous" weapon during a multi-episode clandestine deployment in South America, starting from "Head On" (S5E10). In "Pillar of Strength", CIA agent Greg Smith (Philip Anthony-Rodriguez) joins in on the Venezuela op with the SDX.
The specific model used by the team is SDX 508 (8.5” barrel) a new integrally suppressed variant of the Maxim Defense MDX 508. The weapon is seen fitted with EOTech XPS3, EOTech G33 magnifier, B.E. Meyers MAWL, INFORCE WML flashlight, forward grip and backup sights.
This is perhaps the first time Maxim Defense weapons have been featured in a TV show or movie.
AK-47
Regular AK-47 rifles are usually seen with enemy forces throughout the season.
AKS-47
The AKS-47 rifle is seen as a recurring weapon with enemy forces.
AKM
The AKM rifle is used by enemy fighters throughout the season.
AK-74
What appear to be AK-74 rifles are displayed on the black flag of the Sahaba of the Greater Sahel (SGS) in "Need to Know" (S5E04), serving as the SGS symbol.
AKMS
An AKMS rifle is seen used by enemy fighters throughout the season.
AK-103
The AK-103 rifle is seen throughout "Close to Home" (S5E09), with pro-Turkish mercenaries in northern Iraq.
FN FAL
