Revision as of 18:12, 3 July 2016
The following weapons were used in the film Hannibal Rising:
Handguns
Luger P08
A Luger P08 can be seen in thrown onto the stretcher that has all of the Lithuanian militia groups loot in it.
Walther P38
The Lithuanian militia group leader Vladis Grutas (Rhys Ifans) takes a Walther P38 from a wounded German SS-commander and shoots him in the head with it, just after the group has looted the Lecter castle.
Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"
Zigmas Milko (Stephen Martin Walters) uses a Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" after Grutas sends him to kill Hannibal Lecter (Gaspard Ulliel) in 1952. Lecter later uses the weapon when he infiltrates Grutas' mansion. Grutas also gets his hands on the weapon, and uses it to dispatch a female slave, who tried to urge Lecter into shooting him.
CZ 52
Several of Grutas' (Rhys Ifans) thugs wield CZ 52s as their sidearms later on in the film.
Tokarev TT-33
Bronys Grentz (Ivan Marevich) pulls a Tokarev TT-33 on a Lecter family servant, when the German troops take over the Lecter family castle. A couple of Grutas' thugs also use the Tokarev TT-33 as their sidearms, most notably near the end on the canal boat. Hannibal Lecter (Gaspard Ulliel) also takes one from a guard when he escapes Grutas' mansion after the botched assassination attempt. Lecter can be seen wielding it most notably in Petras Kolnas' (Kevin McKidd) restaurant, using it to lure him into his demise. Grutas also uses a Tokarev near the end of the film on the canal boat.
Submachine guns
PPSh-41
The Lithuanian militiamen Vladis Grutas (Rhys Ifans) and Petras Kolnas (Kevin McKidd) carry PPSh-41 submachine guns as their primary firearms in 1944, during the WWII part in the beginning. Bronys Grentz (Ivan Marevich) also has a PPSh-41 slung over his back when the militia group gathers their loot from Lecter castle on a stretcher. Several Soviet soldiers can also be seen wielding PPSh-41s, when young Hannibal runs into them after escaping from Grutas' group. Soviet border troops also carry them in 1952, when Hannbial crosses over from Lithuania to Poland.
PPS-43
Zigmas Milko (Stephen Martin Walters), one of Grutas' militiamen, has a PPS-43 slung over his back when the German SS troops capture the Lecter castle.
MP-40
Several German soldiers carry MP40 submachine guns as their primary firearms in the film. Enrikas Dortlich (Richard Brake) also carries an MP40 when the group loots the Lecter castle. He is seen firing and dumping the gun after it runs dry when the militia group flees from Soviet troops. After the group enter the Lecter lodge, some of the soldiers also seem to carry MP40s, including Petras Kolnas (Kevin McKidd), and Vladis Grutas (Rhys Ifans), and Dortlich. A couple of MP40s can also be seen in a guard stall in Grutas' mansion later on in the film.
Rifles
Scoped Mosin Nagant
Zigmas Milko uses a Scoped Mosin Nagant rifle to dispatch a couple of Soviet soldiers in the beginning of the film.
Mosin Nagant
Bronys Grentz (Ivan Marevich) and the Pot Watcher (Goran Kostic) have Mosin Nagant rifles slung over their backs, after the Germans have seized the Lecter castle. A Soviet soldier atop a T-34 tank has a Mosin Nagant slung over his back as they find young Hannibal in the snow in 1944.
Sturmgewehr 44
After Grutas' militiamen hide from Soviet troops in Lecter lodge, Zigmas Milko (Stephen Martin Walters) and Bronys Grentz (Ivan Marevich) carry Sturmgewehr 44s as their primary firearms. A couple of Sturmgewehrs are also seen in a crate near Grutas' canal boat.
Karabiner 98k
Some German soldiers carry Karabiner 98k rifles in the film, but most of them are seen armed with MP40 submachine guns.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double-Barreled Shotgun
A servant for the Lecter family can be seen with a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun slung over his back, when Hannibal and his father are hunting. Milko is also briefly seen with a shotgun slung over his back, after some of the militia men go looking for food. This could be the same prop, as it is supposed to be the Lecter family shotgun.
Machine Guns
Degtyaryov DP-28
A Soviet border guard fires a Degtyarov DP-28 light machine gun at Hannibal Lecter (Gaspard Ulliel) as Hannibal crosses over form Lithuania to Poland in 1952.
MG34
A couple of German motorcycles can be seen with MG34 light machine guns attached to them during the beginning of the film.
Maxim M1910/30
A Maxim M1910/30 machine gun can briefly be seen during the scene, when the Lithuanian militia group flees from the Soviet troops.
Goryunov SG-43 Machine Gun
A Goryunov SG-43 Machine Gun can be seen on top of a Soviet tank. The tank crewman later mans the gun, as a German Stuka spots the tank.
Other
