The Magnificent Seven is the 2016 feature film remake of the classic 1960 Western that was in turn based upon Akira Kurosawa's classic samurai film Seven Samurai. Denzel Washington stars in the remake and the cast includes Chris Pratt, Vincent D'Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Peter Sarsgaard and Ethan Hawke. The remake was directed by Antoine Fuqua and reunites him with his Training Day stars Washington and Hawke. The film is set for release in the fall of 2016.
