I am a firearms user and researcher, as well as a collector. I specifically collect SIG Sauer P series pistols, Browning Auto-5 pattern shotguns(including licensed variants made by Remington and Savage), and double action pre-WWII Colt revolvers. I also shoot reproduction black powder single action revolvers. I served an enlistment in the USMC, and was discharged as a Lance Corporal. As a part of that training, I am familiar with the M16A2 (both the Colt and FN produced models), the Browning M2, the FN MAG (M240), the M60E3, the Beretta M9, and the Colt 1911A1. I have kept abreast of developments in the M16/AR15 family of rifles and carbines, and own and use them myself. I own primary examples of revolvers and self loading auto pistols from most major manufacturers and am familiar with their manuals of arms and operation, as well as basic field stripping and maintenance. I am also a registered instructor with Operation Blazing Sword. I found an error in the Punisher Season I TV series page and this seems to be the only way to rectify it, as the forum is closed to new users. Rawlins actually was carrying a SIG P229 in S1E12, which was later picked up by Billy Russo. It is misidentified as a SIG P226. The easy tell is the full length milling of the top of the slide. This milling was only ever done on the early version of the SIG P229. This slide pattern is now called the "Legacy" P229 slide by SIG.
