Just a guy who loves movies and loves guns trying to make this site a better and more complete source of info. Should, for any reason my account be denied, there is no worry. However, I would like to request that the page for the 2007 3:10 to Yuma be changed to accurately show that Ben Wade carries a carbine of the 1866 Winchester retrieved from the Indians and NOT a 1873 as is claimed. Of course this minor change would also need to be and should be made to Russell Crowe's page. I was rewatching the film just to be sure because I intend on making a cowboy action shooting build based around Ben Wade. Of course, the handgun being 4 3/4 inch saa pre war model, and the shotgun being an 1878 double barrel with exposed hammers and a 20 inch barrel. During this rewatch however, I found that the receiver and butt of his rifle can be seen for only a moment, but in that moment, the very distinct brass shine of the 1866 is present, as well as the lack of layering that make the 1873 so distinctive. I hope I can be approved, but if not, please consider these changes. Thanks!
