Middle aged male, mechanic by trade. I have no specific credentials in the firearm world other than being a casual owner and shooter of firearms for most of my life. As a kid I spotted my electronic guitar tuner being used as a brain scanning device in an episode of The Outer Limits. Since then it has become a regular habit to observe and identify the wide variety of commonplace machines pressed into service as props in movies and TV, firearms included.
