I am a history buff and mil-surp lover. I have been disabled for many years, going on 16 yrs now. I refreshed my Military (USN) training as an Armorer as well as the duty maintenance officer for a Law Enforcement unit (no one else wanted the job?). Now I'm a home based gunsmith with a background in Military firearms and weapons systems. I love to watch the military movies from a lot of countries and see if the swap firearms mainly because the prop departments do not have the correct firearm much less the sound effects. Who does not notice the longarms all sound like a Mauser or Carcano in the spaghetti westerns.
Well let us all enjoy the history(and some replacements) of the firearms in the movie business.
