Retired Army tank commander, proud Texan- Flag waving, anthem singing patriot! I've been shooting since I was 5, with my first NRA expert rating by the age of ten. Joined the Army at 22, and ironically, that's when my professional shooting career took a two decade break. Turns out the Clinton years killed the unit level competition, except in infantry battalions. Even more ironically, I was invited to tryout for the Army shooting team (for the Warrior Games, and other Paralympic type contests) two years after retirement. That was a blast, made some new good friends and got to shoot against some of the best in the world. The AMU resources are awesome, but they still don't let you keep the guns.-( Now I shoot in local matches, spend time with my kids, hunt, fish and covertly increase my private collection. My wife still thinks my guns reproduce in the safe when I leave the CLP in there....
