The Golden Holiday (Korean title: 국제수사, Gukjesusa; lit. "International Investigation") is a 2020 South Korean action-comedy film. The film stars Kwak Do-won as Korean detective Hong Byung-soo, who takes his family to a vacation in the Philippines for his 10th wedding anniversary. Unbeknownst to his family, his true motive for visiting the Philippines is to track down his old friend Kim Yong-bae (Kim Sang-ho), who tells Byung-soo about the legend of Yamashita's gold, a massive cache of war loot hidden by the Imperial Japanese in the Philippines during World War 2. The film follows Byung-soo's search for the treasure with his friends and some unlikely accomplices.
