Talk:Justified - Season 3

From Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The gun Raylan carries in seasons 2 and 3 is a Glock 17, as you can clearly see the 17 and 9x19 on the side of it numerous times. His weapon is equipped with Glock 3-dot night sights. Somebody also said that it was confirmed in "GLOCK Autopistols Magazine" in the section "Box office GLOCKs" This section of the magazine can not be trusted for verification as it has misidentified GLOCKs in numerous media sources. Most famously Heath Ledgers modified Glock 17 from The Dark knight, which they identified as a GLOCK 18.

For whatever reason, someone had on the season 3 main page that Raylan was carrying a GLOCK 21 in 45ACP, no doubt as a result of one episode way back when when Raylan stated to a judge he was protecting that he was carrying a ".45". Regardless of what he said, in every episode after the pilot in Season 1, Raylan Givens has carried a GLOCK 17 with a GLOCK 26 as a backup. Even the photo used for the "GLOCK 21" entry showing Raylan shooting at the range is definitive proof that it was a GLOCK 17 (look at the front of the barrel- it's a 9mm barrel, not a .45ACP). Anyone who has a great deal of experience with and around guns can tell the difference.

It is a Beretta 8000L Cougar, the version with the lightened slide hence the milled out portion at the front which is particularly visible in the second cap. I think it has the full size grip, but it very hard to tell, which would make it the "Type P".--commando552 04:50, 23 March 2012 (CDT)

EKOL

JustS3E01 21.jpg

In the most recent episode somebody asked "Does that Lorcin ever jam on you?" I'm not an expert, but it looks a bit like one.

I think the character actually says, "That's awesome, does it ever jam on you?" --Ben41 02:31, 8 March 2012 (CST)

That isn't a Lorcin, it looks like a Tanfoglio GT27, which is imported into the US as the FIE Titan. However, as it lacks the external extractor I guess it is an EKOL blank firing replica (Volga if it is 9mm P.A.K., Tuna if it is 8mm P.A.K.). --commando552 18:50, 7 March 2012 (CST)

I noticed it probably wasn't a Lorcin because it looked like a .45 judging by the muzzle. I hope that helps tell you something about what it really is, because I'm clearly lost.

Totally unrelated, but it'd be great if we got a picture of the EKOL on his cut-off arm.

Smith & Wesson 945PC

The Smith & Wesson 945PC actually looks like a Springfield Armory TRP Operator, notable by the full-length rail under the barrel. What do you think? --Mormonpowerranger521

Note: Slight extension from the barrel and a full-length rail under the barrel.

Yeah that looks like the Operator to me too. --cool-breeze 02:14, 14 May 2012 (CDT)

Glock 18?

In the finale Deputy Marshal Rachel Brooks is seen clearing a barn with a slightly different weapon than her usual Glock 26. Glock 18? Definitely a selector switch on there. --GunGeek (talk) 13:18, 2 December 2014 (EST)

It does look a bit small for a Glock 18 though. I would think the grip of a full sized Glock would extend beyond the bottom of her hand, and here it appears flush. --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:07, 2 December 2014 (EST)
The show's armorer stated in a bonus feature that the cast mainly use airsoft weapons when filming so that's properly what this is. Here is a link to back up what I am saying (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydiJR_AAXHI) --Gunfan2818 (talk) 2 December 2014.
Airsoft replica of a Glock 26
Probably with a grip extension then. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:20, 2 December 2014 (EST)
