Federal M201-Z Grenade Launcher
The gun listed as the Federal M201-Z Grenade Launcher isn't one, as it has a hammer on the back. It looks a bit like an Smith & Wesson 276 Gas Gun but that has a larger lock on top of the barrel. I actually have a book with a picture of this gun being held by a pair of British Army soldiers in Northern Ireland, but the book identifies it as a Smith & Wesson Model 210 which I think is wrong. --commando552 15:27, 28 February 2012 (CST)
- Think I may have found it. Can't really tell the stock type from this pic though which would narrow it down to one. If it has either a pistol grip or a thumbhole(ish) stock (this was removable) it is the Webley & Scott Number 1 Mark I Flare Pistol (these were modified by Federal Laboratories and became the first gas guns):
- If it has a more conventional shotgun type stock it is a Harrington & Richardson Tear Gas Launcher:
