Point of No Return (1993)

Point of No Return is the 1993 US remake of Luc Besson's 1990 thriller La Femme Nikita. The remake stars Bridget Fonda as Maggie, a young drug-addicted woman whose execution is faked in order to recruit her into a secret government agency with the the intent of turning her into a covert assassin. The film was directed by John Badham (Blue Thunder) and released in some countries under the title The Assassin.

Handguns

Hammerli 280

Bob (Gabriel Byrne) gives Maggie Hayward (Bridget Fonda) a Hammerli 280 and an extra magazine to assassinate the "V.I.P." (Robert Apisa) target in the restaurant.

Hammerli 280 - .22 LR. This is the screen gun used in Point of No Return.
The Hammerli is seen in its case. Bob mentions that it's loaded, but it appears that there is no magazine in the weapon in this shot.
As Maggie takes the extra mag, another magazine is now loaded in the Hammerli.

Beretta 92F

The Washington, DC police officers during the opening drugstore robbery use Beretta 92F pistols. Maggie Hayward (Bridget Fonda) uses one during her training to take out several targets.

Beretta 92FS Inox

Several thugs throughout the film use Beretta 92FS Inox pistols. Maggie Hayward (Bridget Fonda) takes a Beretta from one of the men she was with during the opening drugstore robbery. Several court officers during Maggie's sentencing also have Beretta Inoxes. These are also carried by some of the government operatives that train Maggie/Claudia and the bodyguard of Claudia's New Orleans target, as well as some of Fahd Bahktiar's bodyguards.

Glock 17

Some of the V.I.P.'s henchmen in the restaurant carry Glock 17 pistols, firing them at Maggie. Angela's bodyguards (Kenny Endoso and Gary Kasper) each carry a Glock 17 in a shoulder holster, drawing them before being shot by Beth.

Beth (Lorraine Toussaint) uses a suppressed Heckler & Koch P7M8 to shoot Angela's bodyguards.

Smith & Wesson 659

Maggie (Bridget Fonda) takes a Smith & Wesson 659 from Bob (Gabriel Byrne) to try and commit suicide after being caught. After she tries to shoot herself and the gun doesn't go off, Bob takes it back and tells her "Rule number one: Never chamber the first round." He then chambers the pistol and fires a shot into Maggie's leg.

The thug fires at police with an empty semi-automatic and his S&W Model 19. Here, it appears the Model 19 is actually a Snub-nose variant. The automatic appears to possibly be a M1911A1 variant.

Walther P5

Claudia (Bridget Fonda) uses a suppressed Walther P5 when she is sent to assassinate Fahd Bahktiar (Richard Romanus).

Walther PPK

One of the operatives gives Claudia (Bridget Fonda) a black Walther PPK with brown grips after she completes her mission at the Marriott, telling her to "go home". Victor the Cleaner (Harvey Keitel) uses a suppressed PPK to eliminate one of the other operatives.

One of the guards at the government building is armed with a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 equipped with a laser sight that he holds on Maggie when she takes Bob hostage.

Shotguns

12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun

The drugstore owner (Geoffrey Lewis) aims a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun at the thieves in his store at the beginning.

Armsel Striker

One of the thugs robbing the drugstore in the beginning has an Armsel Striker.

Armsel Striker Shotgun - 12-gauge. Strikers are identified not only by the unique 'knob' that serves as the winding key in front of the drum, but also the drum advance lever on the back of the receiver. The Cobray guns don't have this lever.

Mossberg 500 Bullpup

One of the thugs (Henry Kingi) uses a Mossberg 500 Bullpup shotgun to try and kill Maggie in the restaurant. He later attaches some sort of grenade to it.

Sniper Rifles

Anschutz .22 LR sniper rifle

While in New Orleans, Claudia (Bridget Fonda) is told to look for an Anschutz .22 LR target rifle under the sink, which she uses to assassinate a female target. Despite being a bolt-action rifle, the rifle is shown to fire semi-automatic shots.
