No. 44 Rifle Grenade

The No. 44 Rifle Grenade was a British anti-tank rifle grenade. It was designed to counter German tanks and first issued in April 1918; nearly 98,000 were issued during WW1. The weapon apparently remained in use during the interwar period (Although it is not mentioned in any manuals from this period); but by 1931 there were no remaining No.44s and they were considered obsolete.
