This is NOT a H&K Mk 23 Mod 0, This is the civilian version H&K Mark 23, not for military.
Does it really matter? They're very much the same gun except different designations and slight differences, just like the Beretta 92FS and Beretta M9. Plus, please give the user who uploaded this a break, he went through the trouble of finding the gun to photograph for this site, so I think this image deserves to be appreciated for what it is.--Alienqueen11 04:22, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I suppose we could re-direct the article so that it's "Heckler & Koch Mark 23". Remember that, as with the Beretta M9, there are almost surely no real Mk 23 Mod 0s in movies. I imagine armorers only ever use the civilian Mark 23 (which is marked as such), not the military-desginated Mk 23 Mod 0, just as they always use the Beretta 92FS to double for the M9. -MT2008 18:10, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
