In the early beta trailer for Resident Evil 5 (known to fans as Re4.5) Chris can be seen aiming a different version of the stockless shotgun which, in the final version, was the Ithaca 37 Stakeout. Judging by the gun butt and the iron sights, it appears to be the Benelli M3S, marking that weapon's return from Resident Evil 3.
