Don't Breathe is a 2016 psychological thriller co-written and directed by Fede Álvarez and produced by Sam Raimi. The film follows three individuals who break into a rundown Detroit home on the hunt for a large amount of money. They soon encounter its blind inhabitant, Persian Gulf War veteran Norman Nordstrom. While Nordstrom may be blind, the trio soon learn that he is far from vulnerable. The film was released to theaters in August of 2016 and the sequel Don't Breathe 2 was released theatrically in 2021.
