|
Arisaka is a 2021 Filipino thriller-drama film starring Maja Salvador as Mariano, the lone survivor of a politician's police escort team ambushed by a squad of corrupt police officers. After surviving the ambush, she follows the Bataan Death March on a journey to escape her attackers and bring them to justice.

The Beretta 92FS is used by most of the policemen throughout the film.
After his squad shoots up the convoy in the film's opening, an officer fires a few more bullets into the escort car with his 92.
Torejon (

Bolt-Action Rifles
Arisaka Type 99
The titular Arisaka Type 99 is acquired and used by Mariano (Maja Salvador) in the film's climax. It is also seen earlier in a dream sequence where it is held by Japanese soldiers (Mark Angelo Lozano and Boris Erandio). The rifle has a bent bolt and is equipped with an unused monopod. A fact worth noting is that the rifle is never referred to by its' name throughout the film's entire runtime, despite the film being named after it.
