Wolf Warriors (2015)


The Wolf Warrior is a 2015 Chinese made war movie. Jing Wu is director and the protagonist of the film, and stars Nan Yu, Ni Dahong and Scott Adkins. This film tells a story of the battle between the special forces operators of Chinese PLA and well-trained foreign mercenaries that hired by a Southeat Asian terrorists group. This movie is the first Chinese film that featured foreign forces and many actors in this film are Chinese special forces operators in active duty.

Handguns

SIG-Sauer P226

The SIG-Sauer P226 is seen used by Tomcat (Scott Adkins) and his squad members as their standard handgun. The use of P226 is most likely due to Tomcat's background as a Navy SEAL, which issues the P226.

Norinco QSZ-92

The Norinco QSZ-92 pistols chambered in 9mm is seen as the standard service pistol of PLA.

Assault Rifles

Norinco QBZ-95

The Norinco QBZ-95 assault rifle is seen in the hands of PLA personnel. Some rifles are modified, with RIS system, foregrips, flashlights and lasers mounted . The rumored "QBZ-95-2" variant with a FAMAS-style carry handle also appeared in the film.

Norinco Type 56

Norinco Type 56 rifles are seen used by Minh Deng (Ni Dahong)'s troops as their standard weapon. A Type 56 with a expanded bayonet is seen used by Leng Feng (Jing Wu) in the end of the movie.

Norinco Type-56-1

The Norinco Type-56-1 is the Type-56 with an AKS style foldable buttstock. Original Type-56-1 appeared in a flashback of Sino-Vietnam War. Some Type-56-1 rifles with rail interface systems, foregrips and optical sights were used by foreign mercenaries. This modified Type-56-1 is called "Type-56-1 Tactical Modification" among PLA.

M14 Battle Rifle

A scoped M14 rifle is used by the sniper(Samuel Thivierge) of the mercenaries. It was a Norinco manufactured M14.

Norinco CQ Assault Rifle

A modified Norinco CQ Norinco Model 311 assault rifle is used by Tomcat(Scott Adkins). This CQ rifle was mocked up to resemble a Colt M16A4, with a M16A4 MWS-style handruard and rail system. A foregrip and an AN/PEQ-2 IR designator are mounted on it. A optical sight was mounted above the carry handle because of CQ is the copy of M16A1, the carry handle can't be removed.

Norinco CQ-A Carbine

The CQ-A carbines are copies of M4/M4A1 carbines manufactured by Norinco(of course, without the licence from Colt). In this film CQ-As are used by foreign mercenaries. One of the CQ-A carbines uses a 10.5 inch or 11.5 inch barrel.

Norinco Type 97

A Norinco Type 97(QBZ-97) appeared on the poster of this film with a rumored "type 97-2" style carry handle.

Sniper Rifles

Norinco NDM-86

The Norinco NDM-86 sniper rifle(designated "Type-79/85" in Chinese armed forces) can be seen in the flashback of Sino-Vietnamese War, used by a Vitenamese sniper.

Norinco QBU-88

A heavily modified Norinco QBU-88 was used by Leng Feng(Jing Wu) at the beginning of this movie. A sound supressor, a flat-top rail system and a Swarovski scope are mounted on it.

Barrett M95

A Barrett M95 .50 cal long range sniper rifle was used by the sniper(Samuel Thivierge) of the mercenaries during the rescuing of Minh Deng(Ni Dahong). The Barrett M95 in this film is probably a non firing replica.
